Construction process:


  1. Preparation work: The personnel put the safety signs in place, put the slotting machine and the caulking machine in place; prepare the slotting according to the construction requirements, start the caulking machine to preheat, add sealant and stir, and control the temperature between 170°C and 200°C.

  2. Grooving: Install a suitable saw blade according to the construction requirements (recommended width and depth are 13cm-26cm), adjust the required depth, and perform grooving operations.

  3. Cleaning: After manual cleaning, use an air compressor or backpack blower to thoroughly clean the debris and dust in the seams.

  4. Joint filling: Start filling joints when the asphalt temperature is between 170℃ and 200℃; it is recommended that the joint filling temperature be above 10℃; if the temperature in winter is below 5℃, preheat the grooved area before starting joint filling.

  5. Maintenance: 15 minutes after filling the joints, it can be opened to traffic.
